Ignacio Iturria is a Uruguayan artist born in Montevideo in 1949.

His artwork is very much influenced by his home with nautical scenes and earthy tones.

Through his studies of expressive pictorial language, his work has taken on themes of everyday life, especially dealing with children’s toys.

Iturria has been featured in several exhibitions in recent years and represented his country at the Venice Bienale in 1995.
